Day 7: Black and White nails

Ignore how bad my cuticles look in this one. I started with a white base, then added a coat of Seche Vite. I cut strips of scotch tape with scrapbooking scissors and placed them on each nail. Then I did two coats of black and peeled the tape off while the polish was still wet. I like the contrast a lot.

Baseballs!

My husband and I went to see our local minor league baseball team play for a rare date night. I saw this look on Pinterest and thought it would be perfect to wear to the game! The baseball on my accent nail isn't the neatest...I used a dotting tool to make my lines. I didn't have a striping brush, that would have worked better.

Day 6: Violet nails

I'm a little OCD, so when I break one nail, I always end up cutting them all short. I can't stand to have one shorter than all the rest. This one was pretty simple. Just a couple coats of purple, then I used a small dotting tool to add some interest.

Day 5: Blue nails

I loved this mani! I used my Bundle Monster plates to create this look. My cuticles look pretty rough and messy, but overall, I still love this.

Day 4: Green nails

I got this green at the Dollar Tree! The color was alright, but it was really sheer. So for this look, I layered it over white, then taped off my line and added some silver chrome polish. Not my favorite look, but it satisfied the challenge.

Day 3: Yellow nails

Much like orange, I'm not a huge fan of yellow either. I'm always afraid it's going to look like I have some kind of fungus...though that's obviously not the case. Anyway, I topped the yellow with a black crackle on this mani. My 3-year-old said they looked like bumble bees :)

Day 2: Orange nails

I've never been a huge fan of orange. I had to go buy an orange polish just for this challenge. But then I found the little orange slices on one of my Bundle Monster plates, so I think it turned out pretty good.

Day 1: Red nails

And the challenge begins. I'm fairly new to nail art, and totally new to nail blogging, but I'm excited to grow and learn! This look is pretty basic. Just bright red with one accent nail with stamped flowers. It's a little messy, but I'm working on improving that. The picture is a little blurry...I'll work on that too.

Once upon a time...

I started following nail blogs after seeing pictures on Pinterest that I loved. That's where I learned about nail stamping and my world has changed! I hardly wore nail polish at all before I started reading the blogs, and now I feel weird not wearing polish! I've only been doing it for a few months, just for fun, and my husband and one of my best friends keep telling me that I should start a blog of my own...so here we go!
